AI CHANGE-IMPACT INTELLIGENCE

Know what else changes before you make the change.

RippleSignal traces the knock-on effects of decisions across your work. Change a name, price, feature, rule, requirement, deadline, policy or dependency and RippleSignal shows what may become affected, contradictory, stale, due for update or in need of a human decision.

THE PROBLEM RIPPLE SIGNAL SOLVES

AI can change the sentence you point to. Your project is bigger than that sentence.

RippleSignal is a change-impact tool and project consistency checker for AI-assisted work. A decision can be repeated in a pricing page, terms, onboarding copy, support material, a test case, a configuration note and an old requirement. By mapping dependencies and checking for stale or contradictory references, RippleSignal helps you review a change as a project event rather than an isolated edit.

RIPPLESIGNAL WORKSPACE

Build the project map once. Trace changes whenever something moves.

Your workspace is stored in this browser using local storage. RippleSignal does not require an account or send the project map to a separate StartRight AI model.

Create your first project map

Record the decisions, requirements, features, prices, pages, policies, tests and other elements that should move together when something changes.

PROJECT MAP

What does your project depend on?

Each item can depend on other items. RippleSignal uses those links to follow the consequences of a change.

DecisionRequirementFeatureContentPolicyOther
No items yet. Add a decision, feature, price, page, rule or requirement to start the map.

CHANGE SCAN

What does this change ripple into?

Choose the thing changing, describe the proposed new state, then review the consequences before you approve any update.

CONSISTENCY AUDIT

Find project drift before it becomes a problem.

The audit checks the structure of the project map for broken dependencies, retired references, duplicate items, incomplete records and high-impact hubs.

Run the audit after you have mapped some project items.

CHANGE HISTORY

A record of the changes you considered.

Saved scans preserve the proposed change and its impact report. RippleSignal records the analysis; it does not automatically implement the change.

No saved scans yet.

PORTABLE PROJECT MAP

Take the structure with you.

Export the project as JSON for backup, import it in another browser, or copy a human-readable Project Map for use in an AI conversation.

Export project

Download the active project and its change history as a JSON file.

Import project

Import a RippleSignal project JSON file. Imported projects are added to the local workspace.

Copy for an AI client

Create a readable map containing current decisions, requirements and dependencies.

Clear local workspace

Remove all RippleSignal projects stored in this browser. This cannot be undone.

THE RIPPLESIGNAL METHOD

Five questions before the change becomes an edit.

01

Affected

What directly or indirectly depends on the thing being changed?

02

Contradicted

Which current rules or decisions may no longer agree with the new state?

03

Stale

Where is the old value, name, date or assumption still likely to survive?

04

Must update

Which operational, customer-facing, legal, test or documentation items need review?

05

Needs decision

What cannot safely be inferred and should remain a human choice?

FULL CAPABILITY SET

Built for more than software projects.

RippleSignal can map changes across business plans, digital products, websites, policies, legal documents, subscriptions, campaigns, courses, books, events, operational processes and other structured work.

Project Map

Record decisions, requirements, prices, policies, pages, features, tests, assets and dependencies in one local project structure.

Dependency tracing

Follow direct and downstream dependencies so second- and third-order consequences are not forgotten.

Stale-reference detection

Spot items whose text still mentions the current name or value after a proposed replacement.

Contradiction alerts

Flag removals, replacements and policy changes that leave dependent items pointing at something that no longer exists.

Human decision gates

Surface questions the system should not answer silently, especially around plans, policy, removal and customer impact.

Consistency audit

Check the map for missing dependencies, retired references, duplicate titles, incomplete items and high-impact hubs.

Change history

Save impact reports as a record of what was considered before implementation.

Portable project maps

Download JSON for backup or copy a readable map into another AI client or project conversation.

USE RIPPLESIGNAL WITH AI

Connect RippleSignal to a compatible AI or MCP client.

RippleSignal is published in the Official MCP Registry and can also be added directly as a remote MCP server. It does not require a RippleSignal account, an API key or a paid StartRight model call.

Connect in three steps

  1. Open your AI client's tools, connectors or MCP settings and choose to add a remote MCP server.
  2. Enter the RippleSignal endpoint shown here and choose Streamable HTTP if your client asks for a transport.
  3. Save the connection. No RippleSignal authentication or API key is required.

If your client supports Official MCP Registry discovery, search for RippleSignal or ng.startright/ripplesignal.

What the MCP server provides

  • open_ripplesignal — opens the interactive RippleSignal resource.
  • get_ripplesignal_workflow — returns the method for mapping, scanning, auditing or approving changes.
  • analyse_change_impact — traces a proposed change through a supplied project map.
  • audit_project_consistency — checks a supplied map for structural drift and broken references.
  • create_update_checklist — turns an impact analysis into a review sequence.
  • get_project_map_template — returns the portable RippleSignal project-map schema and example.

ABOUT

About Adaeze Emilia Mbakwe

Adaeze Emilia Mbakwe is the founder of StartRight NG, a Nigerian business-support and digital-product venture focused on turning practical problems into accessible tools, systems and resources. Her work increasingly explores how artificial intelligence can help entrepreneurs, professionals and everyday users work more effectively without unnecessary technical complexity or cost.

Her product philosophy starts with the user problem rather than the technology. She is especially interested in practical, cost-conscious AI tools that reduce friction, preserve human judgement and make sophisticated capabilities easier for ordinary people and small organisations to use. Her legal background in structured analysis, documentation and consistency also informs the way she approaches digital-product design.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Questions about change impact, project consistency and MCP

What is a change-impact tool?

A change-impact tool helps identify what else may be affected when a decision, feature, price, rule, requirement, deadline or other project element changes. RippleSignal maps dependencies and flags contradictions, stale references, required updates and decisions that still need human judgement.

What does RippleSignal do?

RippleSignal acts as a project change-impact and consistency checker. It builds a structured project map, traces downstream dependencies and organises results into Affected, Contradicted, Stale, Must Update and Needs Decision.

How does RippleSignal work with MCP?

RippleSignal exposes read-only change-impact tools through a remote Model Context Protocol server. A compatible AI client can call those tools while using its own model for additional reasoning.

How do I connect RippleSignal to an AI client?

In a compatible AI or MCP client, add the remote server endpoint https://ripplesignal.startright.ng/api/mcp and use Streamable HTTP if a transport is requested. RippleSignal does not require its own account or API key.

Does RippleSignal make changes automatically?

No. It deliberately separates analysis from implementation. RippleSignal shows likely consequences and questions; you decide what should actually change.

Does RippleSignal use AI?

The public workspace itself uses deterministic project-map logic and local storage. When RippleSignal is connected through MCP, a compatible AI client can use its own model to reason with the structured RippleSignal tools. StartRight NG does not need to buy a separate model response for each use.

How accurate is a Change Scan?

Its accuracy depends on the quality of the project map. Explicit dependency links are strongest. Text-reference detection is supplementary and may miss relationships that were never recorded. RippleSignal is designed to make hidden dependencies more visible, not to claim perfect knowledge of a project.

Where is my project data stored?

The public workspace stores projects in local browser storage. Clearing browser data or using another device will not carry projects across automatically, so use Export JSON for backups or transfer.

Can it work outside software development?

Yes. The item types deliberately include decisions, prices, policies, deadlines, content, legal/terms material, tests, integrations, audiences, offers and other project elements.
